October Bullet Journal Spread!

So today is October 1st! I am going to actually be planning in my bullet journal for this month and using a mood tracker. So I wanted to share how I decided to set up everything. 

I'm not much of a Halloween person but I do love Fall! Therefore I tried my best with some pumpkins (and a squash)! I messed out a little on my overview calendar for the month, I counted wrong lol but that's okay. On the next page I drew a tree with little circles around it as my mood tracker( I got the idea from here). Now...I'm not sure if this is going to work at all. But I want to try, mostly because life has been a little wonky and I need to focus on my mental health a bit more. I'm hoping that taking a moment to think about it every day will help(: 

I'm really happy with how this turned out especially mixing colors on the trees, because I feel like I suck when it comes to creativity 

The brush pens that I used were the Artist loft pens (the two in the picture), my hard tip Tombow Fudenosuke calligraphy pen, and Huhuhero Fine Line Drawing pen.

Long Time No Blog ! But I need some help!

 

 

Hey there! I haven't posted in quite the time. I spent time away on my last year in high school and also the super amazing transition to college.

 

From my time here so far, I've had nothing but fun...I've met some really amazing people and I feel like I truly belong (#yay)

But more about that in upcoming post...since actually college has inspired me to resume blogging!

 

I am enrolled in an English class and we have a semester long project where we have to choose a community that we are a part of and study how language functions within that community. I decided to choose blogging since I am a apart of Bloggers with Class.

 

I am now in the section of my paper where I need data in order to prove my statement/thesis, which is-in a nutshell: Bloggers are literate in their very own way. Therefore I have created a survey for other bloggers to take part in. Its only 10 questions and shouldn't take anymore than 5-7 mins. If you can spare some time and be a participant it would really help me out...not only with just my paper but in my own personal interest in this topic.

Fourth of July ideas!

Good Afternoon beauties!

As promised, I am here to give a few ideas on some cool things that you can do to be festive this Fourth of July!

I'm going to start with FOOD!

Food

You can make any treat you love...just make it red & blue!

Cake, popsicles. jello, and drinks are the quickest and easiest way to go and oh yeah don't forget the dye! These girls have some great ideas: Beth, Savannah & Anne; just click on their name and let the magic begin!

Beauty

For makeup you can either go simple or go BIG! It's up to you! You might want to swipe on a colorful wing eyeliner and mascara or go for bold, colorful eyes!

Seeing the beauty in life.

    

    

    

So, today a club that I'm apart of at school put on a Easter Egg hunt for kids that we tutor afterschool. It was sooo much fun watching them scramble around looking for the eggs an finding the candy!

But as my friend and I were supervising the kids to make sure the kids were playing nice lol we came across these beautiful flowers that the school grows. 

My friend and I just had to take pictures and were absolutely amazed at how beautiful these flowers were. 

It made me stop and think of how many times do I "stop to smell the roses?" Life is so beautiful and sometimes we get caught in all the school, work, and other tasks that we forget about the amazing life we've been given. So these flowers today gave me a chance to stop and just appreciate what I've been given and the fact that I can even experience the beauty of what Earth has to offer. 

How often do you stop to really "smell the roses?"
