October Bullet Journal Spread!

So today is October 1st! I am going to actually be planning in my bullet journal for this month and using a mood tracker. So I wanted to share how I decided to set up everything.

I'm not much of a Halloween person but I do love Fall! Therefore I tried my best with some pumpkins (and a squash)! I messed out a little on my overview calendar for the month, I counted wrong lol but that's okay. On the next page I drew a tree with little circles around it as my mood tracker( I got the idea from here). Now...I'm not sure if this is going to work at all. But I want to try, mostly because life has been a little wonky and I need to focus on my mental health a bit more. I'm hoping that taking a moment to think about it every day will help(:

I'm really happy with how this turned out especially mixing colors on the trees, because I feel like I suck when it comes to creativity

The brush pens that I used were the Artist loft pens (the two in the picture), my hard tip Tombow Fudenosuke calligraphy pen, and Huhuhero Fine Line Drawing pen.

Let me know if you bullet journal and share your spreads with me. I would love to see them(:

Until next time!

 Starting with youtube!

I loveeeeeee Remi and Eva, oh and Meridith for their creativity during the holidays so I say you should DEFINITELY check out their videos. They have a load of great ideas of things to make for family and friends!

Back to School DIYs: Collab!|||Late Mani Monday

Hellllllo, I'm sorry about not posting my Mani Monday yesterday!
But even though it's Tuesday that doesn't take away the beauty from these nails lol

This week I decided to take a break from nail art and just do a simple manicure.
This beautiful pink is Groove Is In The Heart by Deborah Lippmann.
I have had this color since Christmas and had never used it so I thought why not give it a shot & I love it !

 What do you think?
Any dupe alerts (I love it when Dani from Coffee Break With Dani uses it haha)? Tell me below!

Now I also have some DIYs to share with you today!

I have partnered up with my new-found friend Tianna from Dressed To A Ti!
We have to decided to do a collaboration of some easy & fun DIYs !
We each chose a DIY to do for school, room, & fashion! So let's get started(:

Separated Jean "cork" board
Okay so that's a funny name & I'm sure everyone is looking at their screen thinking I'm crazy haha. Well I originally got this idea from Pinterest & since I didn't have any cork board I decided to improvise!

All you'll need is what you see in pic number one!
2. hot glue to peives of cardbard tgether
3.&4. Hot glue the jean fabric to you cardboard
5. Bend down the sides of the fabric over (like a present!)
6. Fold over other side & your done!
 Now stick whatever you want on to your little boards! Noes for school...jewelry...whatever you would like!

DIY Shirt Design
I also saw this on Pinterest and decided to give this a try. Making your own  design on your shirt! I decided to make two little bows on the bottom of my black shirt. They didn't come out perfect...but I had fun I'll know what not to do next time lol

You'll need everything in pic number one!

2. Put cardboard under the spot you want to paint
3.& 4. Mark your spot and then use tape to sketch out your pattern!
5. Then go to painiting (;
6. Go over the spot until it's opaque to your liking and then let it dry (or blast some cool air on it from an blow dryer!)
7. Wear your shirt and show it off!

DIY Binder Covers!
Now I've actually already done one of these and I absolutely loveeeee it! See all of the directions and such here! But Binder covers are always fun to make & you can make you own by getting a design you want, sizing it to your paper or binder and then going to a website that will let you write on fonts and do overlays ! I personally love Picmonkey!

Here are some pics from when I personalized my binder with a cover!

Well I hope that you all enjoyed this collab and have some new ideas of ways to DIY you room, school supplies, and clothing!!

 Make sure you head on over to Tianna's blog to see her DIYs (which are amazing!)
I am in love with the Polaroid inspired pictures she did! Look at it! Cool right?!
She didn't post this on her DIY post but I am personally going to paint my calculator like she did in on of her previous post, I love trying to make school fun haha!

Overall I had a lot of fun doing this with Tianna-collabs are so fun!

Whew, I think this is my longest post I've ever written haha!
Well, I hope that you all enjoyed the DIYs and that they inspire you for back to school!

Being Inspired..

So being crafty and getting great idea off of the top of your head and be hard sometimes.

I'm not gonna lie; I say all the time "Why can't I be inspired or 'artsy'?"

...but recently I've found out that I can be inspired and recreate what I've seen to make it my own.

Here's how..

//Find your favorite things...they are all around ya!//
Inspiration can be drawn from something as simple as the uber cute wallpaper on your phone to a tile pattern you saw on t.v. to a pillow you were fawning over in the store last week. Look to what you like and not simply what everyone else is raving over.

//Believe in yourself//
Yes...I know this sounds cliche but we all have potential; just in different areas. I feel that I suck at free hand nail art but today I sucked it up and did it (it turned out super cute btw, I'll be showing them tomorrow(; )!

//Like Nike...just do it//
I mean come on, if we don't try we'll never know...so just try & if you fail then try again (maybe haha). But just take a chance and see what happens!

//Show you what inspires you//
Keep those creative juices flowing and show off your style by getting/making a dream board. Pinning up things that inspire you can lead to other things...for me it's usually something relate to home decor (for my room) or beauty but hey anytthing can happen! Or go the virtual way and get a Pinterest!

///Some things that have inspired me lately///

I think I got this from Instagram...sorry I don't remember from who!

This bathing suit form Old Navy...love it.

I hope that these tips can help you to be inspired and that you have fun trying out some new things!
I showed you some pics that inspire me so, what inspires you?
Let me know it the comments!

DIY Sugar Scrub! mmmm(:

Hey! I'm back with a little DIY tutorial that will make your hands or any other areas of the body super smooth.

Again as I have stated in my Important Stuff Page, I am in no way a professional! This is just something that I have made and that I like to use in order to get soft skin(:

Coconut Oil does have skin moisturizing properties along with anti-bacterial properties (so it's great for feet!). Jojoba Oil is great to use as an anti-inflammatory, skin moisturizer  (treating dry skin), and also is used in cosmetics because it minimizes pores and fine lines/wrinkles and won't clog pores. Sounds great, right?!

Now onto the fun stuff(; For this scrub I used Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, and just regular ole' sugar! I don't have a 'recipe' for this, but I do recommend equal parts of the oils and then put twice as much sugar as you did oil into the mix (or just enough to make it thick as you see in my photo tutorial). Afterwards you"ll have baby soft hands and they will smell like coconut, yummy! Here is my tutorial below!(:

1. Gather materials: Jojoba oil, Coconut oil, A small cup or jar (whatever your preference), nail brush, Sugar & a spoon or anything to stir the scrub with.
2. Put jojoba oil and coconut oil together.
3. Heat oils in the microwave for about 10 seconds ( if using a small cup and amount like mine shown above. If not add more time, around 5 or 6 seconds at a time.).
4. Add Sugar!
5.This is just to show that separating of the oil and sugar may occur, this is natural(: (But if your oil doesn't rise it's also okay, I have a generic recipe but at the same time add the amount of sugar for the intensity of exfoliation your skin can handle).
6. Tada!! You now have you own sugar scrub that will blow you away! Now go scrub!(:

Have Fun and if you have you own oils test them out and maybe you could make a brand new scrub, if so let me know in the comments below!
