Beauty 101|||Homemade Lipstick

First I want to say I hope that everyone had a grew Christmas with their families(; i reframed from posting on Christmas to spend time with mine haha. Now onto the post!
||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||||||
This goes to all the girls who dream of getting that perfect lip color but don't have tons of money to shell out for lipsticks...

I was on Facebook and I ran across this video on how to make your own lipstick. I thought it was going to be the same old same old tutorial but was I wrong...I have actually never seen such a simple technique.

She uses coconut oil & crayons.
Simple right?

Now when she models the colors they are absolutely gorgeous!

I couldn't find her exact video but there are many on YouTube.
Here's one that I like: DIY: How To Make Lipstick Using Crayons

I actually tried this, I want to make a dark vampy look for fall so I used Red Voilet and Black but I put in equal amounts of both colors of crayon and it turned to dark-almost brown…but that's okay, I can always try again! Btw it isn't completely a lipstick more I would say more a gloss, only because it has that nice sheen to it(:

Here's what it looked like!

So it still turned out pretty but I wanted a more purple reddish undertone!

Well i hope that you guys give this a shot..it's super easy and so cool. I mean imagine- you see a color you want and bam! make it.
Tell you below if you try this or have some cool DIYs!

Last Minute Gift Ideas!

With Christmas being only 2 days away, it's time to wrap those presents and have them ready for whomever we are ready to surprise!

But...a lot of us haven't even started to look for presents!....#lolme but I've also decide to go the DIY route this year. So I want to share my favorite DIYs I've seen so far(;

 Starting with youtube!

I loveeeeeee Remi and Eva, oh and Meridith for their creativity during the holidays so I say you should DEFINITELY check out their videos. They have a load of great ideas of things to make for family and friends!

& also, you don't always have to give a 'product' but you can also give food!
 I love Pinterest for this (Follow me for more ideas as well(:)!
Here's some idea's for fun treats that you can give during the Holidays

Christmas Bark ||| via

Christmas Popcorn ||| via

This sheet gives you some ways to make fun coco!
You can always mix the dry ingredients and add a note for the amount of milk needed!

I've always wanted to make Muddy Buddies!|||via

I hope this gives you all some ideas for Christmas Gifts that don't cost a fortune but still touch the heart! & also don't forget what Christmas is really about: spending time with your family and friends, appreciating what you already have, spreading joy (like confetti haha) and celebrating the life that saved us all years and years ago(:

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

|||Surviving Senior Year|||

So, this is my last year of High School and is it stressful.
like....I can't even. rofl

But I would like to share some tips that I think will make Senior Year much less stressful and much more smooth!

It will probably be a small sporadic series so watch out for them!

1. Get a head start on college apps.
College applications can be a killer if you don't give them their proper attention. So during the summer of Junior Year go ahead & make an account with the Colleges or Universities you would like to attend & if you want to go ahead and start filling it out, that's great too! If you have no idea where you want to go, take time to research, look at some schools in your area and maybe a couple out of your area as well(:

2. Get Connected.
Spend some time getting to know your Counselor and the person at your school who handles information about colleges and universities and scholarships. Creating a good relationship with them is important, in my opinion, because they know that you're serious about your education and being successful and plus the more they know about you, the more they can help!(:

3. Be Yourself.
Its scary. I get it. But- I have a strong feeling that colleges and universities want to see you, the person who is eagerly wanting to attend there school; not someone who is trying to write what they think the school wants to hear. So my advice, just be yourself and write when your in a good place-have fun with your applications and show the real you.(:

I've just noticed that there's smiley f face at the end of my sentences haha- just trying to give hope and positivity!

4. Get an agenda & stick with it.
Agendas are sooooo important during this year. I cannot stress enough, like it could save your educational lives. Writing down due dates and then giving yourself a time frame and also seeing that time frame is super helpful ( at least for me). I can see if my goals are set too close or if I've planned something after school but I also have something to do that day. With everything that is going on this year I just cant see myself doing it without my planner...all of my scholarship dates, projects, big tests...sigh it s just the #realmvp.

5. Have Funnnn!
I almost forgot this to be honest, which is kinda what happens throughout the year haha. But just remember Senior Year is your last year so make it extra fun, take all those fun pictures, engage in a new club or sport, and have fun with your class. *whoop whoop class of 2015

So I hope that these help with organizing your senior year or even getting ready for it (or just help organize your year in general)!
See ya in the next post (;

p.s sorry for the lack as posting, all the tests and homework along with exams and after school activities really add up quick and swamp me so I try to post when I can!

Thanksgiving Makeup...done simple!

So, if you're like me-a girl who likes to wear makeup but doesn't like to send over 10-15 mins actually applying it-this is for you!

So this year I want to try something different and break out a simple but elegant look for the holiday.
I have in mind a few combo's

So I would honestly say to stay with a simple eye look and then just change up the lips to create a more flirty or eddy mood!

For the eyes-neutral is the best way to go since it won't clash with your lips!
*add or subtract glitter to suit looks to your taste!*

So these are more light colors that can be paired with netral eyes!
Pout & Jewel are two colors that will make your look softer
Azalea, Legendary, & Smitten will take it up a notch and make it a but flirty

go bold with a dark lip

 I hope that this gives you some inspiration for how to get a simple but WOW look this Thanksgiving(:

Tell me what you're plans are for your face tmrw #lol or what you're doing!(:

Instant Style by Instyle

So, I rarely read magazine but when I do, I really enjoy them.

I  guess you could say I spend my time making outfits of Polyvore, repining them on Pinterest and liking them on Instagram haha I'm basically beating around the bush.

But my mom received her Instyle magazine this month and instead of keeping it she handled it over to me! I receive Teen Vogue but variation is fun.

So as I was flipping through I noticed a section they have called: Instant Style and it gives 5 different events and appropriate but super chic attire. I thought that was amazing and could not wait to share! So here they are:

|||Girls Brunch|||

 |||Holiday Dinner||||

 |||Apple Picking|||

|||Date Night|||

 What do you guys think of these outfits?
Do they give you any inspiration, because they sure helped me!

Hey There Fall(:

Hi there everyone!

I just would like to say Happy Fall!
lol it's probably been cold where some of you are for months, but here in Florida it has just started to get cold like um, Saturday night aha & it came by surprise!

Buttttt, this makes me happy because I can break out all of my cute scarfs ad mittens from last year that I didn't get to wear! & also I went shopping at Target and got some great deals on a beanie, scarf and a couple of other goodies!

So today instead of Mani Monday, yes I know it's been two weeks but I like to paint my nails on Sunday and I've been so busy between school and college applications and just life that I haven't had time to do them..sorry ): , I would like to give a little list of Fall Essentials!

Fall Essentials!

1\\\ So first you have to have a couple of cute but simple sweaters to play around with! They can be easily layered for a more casual appearance or dresses up with boots.
2\\\ Jackets are a must! Not only because they look cute but you want to stay warm...fashion is my best friend but hey I'll always choose warmth over cuteness haha, But here are some jackets that allow both!
3\\\ boots boots boots...they speak for themselves! lol bots are a perfect way to stay chic and warm, they instantly change an outfit!
4\\\Lastly I just have somethings that will further aid in coziness. Leg warmers a great way to keep your legs warm and add a flare to your boots! Beanies, scarves, and gloves are also another fashion statement and help to add in color during this time of year!

Well what do ya think?
Do you have any of these things already set out for Fall?

What are you Fall Essentials? Tell me below!(:

Have a great night!

Mani Monday|||Ready for Fall, I Couldnt Resist!

Hey guys so as promised here is MANI MONDAY
I'm actually quite excited to be back on track(;

Now I have a simple manicure in the shade: Single Ladies by Deborah Lippmann.
Let me go ahead and warn ya....I'm absolutely positively in love with this color. I want my children to wear it, my mom, i think I wanna be buried in it #knockonwood #nojinxinghere .

This is a beautiful color, especially for Fall! It goes on very smooth, like butter and is opaque in about 3-4 coats. I know that sounds like a lot but the colors are fast drying so time goes by fairly quick!

I added a simple little design on my ring fingers just to jazz up the manicure even though this color is bomb on its own.

Well, I hope that you enjoyed this Mani Monday, sorry it's short but I wanted to show this color & get back on track with blogging!
Hope your having a wonderful day; see ya!(:

Where Have You Gone Mani Monday?

 Hey guys!
Today I want to tell you guys why I haven't been posting for Mani Monday.

Lately my poor nails have been super brittle and they also had a very bad case of peeling. Due to that I wanted to give them a break; I paint them a color one week and then give them a week to 'rest'.

Doing this has actually helped my nails and I couldn't be happier.

I started using LAUNCHPAD by Dermelect Cosmeceuticals around a month and a half ago. I choose this product because its 3-free (Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene). Every time I read the ingredients for a polish that would help my nails it always had one of the Big-3 so I was jsut at a lost.

But one day in ULTA, I asked one of the ladies if they knew of any product that would fight against peeling but was 3-free and she led me to LAUNCHPAD. Now, this product is a little bit on the expensive side but for me it is totally worth it! Also I feel like an important question is, "Does it get gooey after a while?" and the answer as of right now would have to be no and I am about 1/4 done with the bottle.

Here are some pics of what my nails look like now (with one coat of LAUNCHPAD)

Some nails still have a bit to go but for the most part my nails are getting stronger and longer every day! If you guys have any suggestions of products to help nails, feel free to comment below!

I hope this little review was helpful & don't worry Mani Monday will be back very soon!(:

Bloggers With Class

Hey guys so a little while ago Jamie from The Fashion Newcomer tagged me for the Bloggers With Class Award! & I'm super excited to be apart of the award! Jamie is a super cool girl that I've met through blogging, she posts in a different style but i love it! She doesn't only talk about fashion but she helps you in other aspects but in such a unique way, I really hope that you check out her blog!(

I haven't had the time to sit down and actually answer the questions since school has started!
I've just been SO busy with homework, NHS, soccer, and simply trying to study and complete workout without falling asleep lol.

But I've finally caught a break and I want to get back to blogging so here we go!

Alright, so the Bloggers With Class Award was made by Cathleen from Classy Cathleen, and she created this award to recognize gals with class. When we read others blog we tend to pay attention to how they affect us and how their writing influences our thinking or perspective. It's great to find a blogger who makes you lol...literally haha or one that constantly gives you inspiration! That's what I think Cathleen was trying to capture with this award. (:

So the rules for this award are...
~If tagged, please copy the rules into your post
~Please also link back to this post on Classy Cathleen
~Recognize the blogger that tagged you (share a little about them and their blog, and link back to them)
~Answer the questions that are a part of the award
~Tag 5 bloggers that you feel are classy to receive the award as well
~Let the bloggers know that they have been tagged!
~Be sure to include the link to the Bloggers With Class community (And don't forget to join!)
~Include the image in your post

 Time for the questions!!!(:
1. What do you think it means to be classy?
To me, being classy is more of a state of mind. Now I don't mean to walk around with your nose in the air thinking you're better than everyone else...but to simply be strong and confident in the beautiful person you are. Because like Dr. Seuss said, "Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You." I mean come on...you get one life, on chance to make it worth while! Yeah there will be lots of obstacles to jump, climb, and swim over but the way you deal with them is what counts; being classy isn't about wearing a fancy dress or your pearls but yet taking what you have and making it fab. (;

2. Who are some of your role models?
I don't know if this sounds bad but I don't really have a role model in the sense of "I want to be him or her...I wish I had their life." I want to create a life for myself and aspire to achieve my dreams and live a happy life! But I can say that some very influential women in my life are my mother and my grandmothers (basically all the women in my life haha)-they deal with life in a very unique way and I love it! Also God is someone I look up to...the more I follow what he asks, I can say the happier I am(: & lastly my friends are very influential in my life-they help me to be better(: & hey I mean if I see a chick with a great fashion sense I have to find out where she shops (;

3. Who are some of your style icons?
Hmm...I love so many things! I am really loving the circle skirt right now along with colored tights, boots, kimonos, flats, stud earrings, and flare jeans! I actually plan on making a post on this soon since I can't wait to dress for fall(:

4. Pearls or bows?
This is a hard one...I mean pearls are so "classy" lol but bows are so fun and bubbly! & I actually own neither of them (sad face) But I actually can't choose haha because to be honest I would probably wear them at the same time hahaha

5. Who/what inspires you?
My family, friends, and religion inspires me! Every time that I feel down or ready to give up there is always someone there to cheer me on and help me out.
6. What is your favorite color?
7. Do you like the classy style? What are some of your favorite pieces/trends of the fashion style?
I like the classy style but I feel that there are different levels to the classy style. I simply like to look put together and  ready for anything. Presentation is key(;

8. What are some of your favorite quotes?
lets seeeeee they are always changing!
-"Life will hit you hard in the face, wait for you to get back up just so it can kick you in the stomach. But getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air." This was just so moving to me!
-Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8-

*sigh...I literally cant think of my fav quotes right now, i feel so bad but i will def add them in later.*

9. Why is it important to have class?
It is important to have class because its what people will remember. No one will remember that you accidentally missed a button at your interview but rather that you were there on time, put your best foot forward even though you were a bit nervous, and you were ready to learn and accept new things, (:

10. Why did you start a blog? When did you start your blog?
I started a blog because I wanted a "creative outlet" I had recently stumbled across a few blog but on caught my attention and that would be Caroline's blog. I saw it and I was like wow, this girl is around my age and she is having so much fun and making friends and then I knew I had to try as well. I had always wanted to start on but I wasn't such about it...I thought it would be super lonely but I'm glad I didn't wait around forever! I started my blog June 15, 2013...how rude of me to forget my own blogs birthday (oops) but wow has it been a while! I did take a little hiatus from my blog becuase I stopped to run onw with my best friend, unfortunatly it didn't work out so I came back to Life's Little Bits of Happiness.

Time to tag(;
Tianna from Dressed to a Ti
Maggie from Happy Little Hummingbird

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, until next time! Also if you want to be tagged just mention it below and I'll be sure to add you on in(:

Review|||Too Faced's:Better Than Sex Mascara

So today I want to do a review on something that's not necessarily new but new for me!

I finally got a around to spending the big ole $23 on better than sex...and I couldn't be any more happier!
So to get all the structured stuff out of the way I'll go ahead and do the pros & cons and such first !

•Makes your lashes look va-va-VOOM! •Very easy to remove.
•Easy to build.
•But really, you get great curl, length, volume...just everything!

•Super wet formula (at first-which can make it hard to apply).
•It's not waterproof
•Flakes on my bottom lashes after a couple hours (if I make the effort to put it in the bottom lashes bc the brush is big).

So as you can see the cons are pretty srandard..but the pros are not! What can I say?! This mascara is AMAZING, when I wear it, it instantly opens my eyes and makes them so beautiful! It gives a butterfly affect in my opinion(;

Now the price can make you very hesitant but I say it's well worth it, plus I got a mini mascar as well!

The mascara does take some getting used too...at first it's really wet in my opinion but as time goes on and thickens up a bit more which is perfect for me, I feel like I have more control that way. This mascara makes sure to coat all of your lashes and if you only have time to do one thing in the morning...do your mascara! I don't even worry about my winged eyeliner because this alone just makes me feel so out together and pretty for the day!

Here's what it makes my eyes look like!

So do you think you'll be trying out this mascara??? I hope so !

...don't be too mad.

So I've been seeing alot of post about how its getting harder and harder to blog.
& I totally feel their pain because I am in the same boat myself!

School is a killer.
lol okay not really but it does drain about 80% of my energy and then there's the homework.

Other than it being my senior year *whoop whoop 2k15*, I have a jam-packed schedule full of college classes & 1 elective...yes one. ):  So blogging sometimes has to wait because I simply do not have enough time to blog and do homework and study for tests.

BUT, I'm trying my hardest! So please work with me (;
I will most definitely have a post for you guys tomorrow! So keep your eye out for it(:

Make-up Rountine for school(:

Haha I don't even know how to start this post!
Sooooo, I'll just come out and say it!
I haven't posted in a week and two days...like whaaa?

Well, school for me started last Monday and I have been absolutely so busy with school work and tests, yes test, that I haven't had time to sit down and blog!

But I have a little bit of free time today so I actually want to share how to make the morning time a little bit easier, for us makeup wearer's! <did I just make up a word? lol

Okay, so first off if your like me and you have to wake up super early, just swiping on a couple of neutral colors, some eyeliner, and mascara is the easiest way to go. I don't wear face makeup though! This is just simply simple eye makeup that takes 10mins or less!(:

||So make sure that you start off with a clean face! You don't want anything in the way of your eye makeup adhering to your eye or any dirt under your makeup...that would not be good!

||If you want your makeup to stay on, not crease, and look bright then make sure to use a primer! I use the 24-hour primer by Smashbox. It works like a charm! My makeup stays on all day at school and it looks just like how I did it that morning.(: Now it is a little bit on the pricier side, but it lasts...like literally. I actually share my primer with my mom and we are maybe just now getting halfway throguht the tube! So it really is a deal guys! You can see my Ulta haul in which I got the primer here!

||Now I say the best thing to do is choose 2 to 3 neutral colors. That way you can just swipe on your colors and mooooove on! My favorite look lately has been to take light colors (matte and sparkly or shimmery and put them all over your lid to brighten up your face and then blend that color out using a darker color inn your crease. So I use a very beigy color in both a matte and shimmer all over my lid and then I take a light mocha color and blend the color out in my crease! (Boom, that took like 4 mins)

|||Now its time to do your eyeliner! I have finally found the perfect way to do winged eyeliner and to be honest, it just takes watching different people doing it different ways and then trying them out! But also everyone's eye is different so you have to find out what works for you! But I would love to try and help so comment below!(;

||Now it's time to bat those eyelashes! Cheesy enough for ya guys? haha but really, now its time to do your lashes. Now you can curl them to give them a little bit of oomph or you can just coat your lashes and go! But what Id do recommend is, know what mascara goes with your eye makeup. For me when I wear eyeshadow I like to wear a volumizing mascara opposed to a lengthening; and when I don't wear eyeshadow I'll wear my lengthening mascara! I just feel that if my eyelid already has something going on I shouldn't over do-it by having mega long eyelashes-I want to compliment my eyes(;

||That's it! Now you have a look that plays up a beautiful feature on your body & you had a little fun!(:

I hope this gives some of your ideas for a makeup look to do in the morning so you can get more sleep and still be at school on time! But don't worry, I'll have more ideas for other things like hair and such! Because hey putting on makeup is a lot of work haha!

***Also I'm sorry in advance about posting! I sometimes am super busy and school comes before fun (sometimes (; ). But I will try to get up at least 2 a week until things get settled!***
