ULTA Experience

So, on Saturday I had the lovely opportunity to go to ULTA.

Let me tell you,I had sooooo much fun!
It was my first time going and I was like a kid in a candy store, it was just--ahhhh, wonderful!
And of course there no way to walk into ULTA and not purchase anything. So my mom and I ended up buying the Full Exposure Pallet by Smashbox, Photo Finish 24-hour eye shadow primer, with the pallet you get a mini Full Exposure mascara, an ionic blow dryer, Dolce and Gabana roller ball perfume, and with spending $50 worth of Smashbox product you either got a foundation primer or a mini mascara and eyeliner. There were a couple of together goodies but these are the main beauty ones!

I will make a detailed post of my eyes & the pallet later on (they were so much fun btw-I didn't want to remove the makeup haha)

Do you prefer ULTA? I know I do!

Diamond Strength?

Hey there! Sorry I couldn't post yesterday, I had an event to go to and I got home really late!

But today I would like to chat about Sally Hansesn's Diamond Strength (strength treatment). So first I want to start off by saying thsi product is does a very good job of protecting your nails..like it says.

http://rubybox.co.za/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/f/c/fc25558_sally_h_diamond_strength.jpg

But I happened to buy this product to help my weak, peeling nails to become stronger....this I can not say it helped.

On the box it is advertised to "stop nails from breaking" well I couldn't see that...maybe on or two nails were stronger and didn't break but the rest were still in bad condition. To be honest I don't know why my nails are having such a rough time lately but I do need to find a treatment that will revive them. I don't want to use a hardener (labeled specifically hardener-diamond strength is a "treatment") because most consist of formaldehyde and I prefer to keep the "Big Three" out of my system.

But this product is not bad. It does protect the nail while its growing but I would say that the getting them stronger part is up to you. Plus who does want shiny bare nails, its nice to just go natural every once in a while!

Have you tired this product or have any recommendations? If so I would to read about them in the comments!

It's finally here!

Hey guys! Today I want to tell you guys about Pacifica's new nail polish line!

 via
click me to go to Pacifica!

I am so excited and knowing Pacifica, I expected it to be alllll natural.
This is great because it is 7-free. Um....what? Yes I said, 7-free; this nail polish is free of  parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals. (I mean that's right right but I guess that they are counting the first 7, which are uber common and then added in animals-which I have never heard of before in nail polish)

The other great news is that they didn't just come out with a set, or a couple of polishes, but they introduced 26 polishes (two do which are a base coat and top coat)! Wow, talk about first impression!

The polishes cost $9 and are in a wide variety if colors. Where I live, I can find Pacifica in Whole Foods so I hope to visit one soon  and see if I can pick one if these baby's up !

Will you be checking out these new polishes? Tell me below!

Hair|||Are you putting in your bobby pins correctly?

So I'm pretty sure your looking at my title and wondering...how on Earth can you put in a bobby pin wrong? Well, there is a more efficient way to insert a bobby pin into your hair; with the WAVY SIDE down towards your scalp.

I, myself, have always put in a bobby pin the "normal" way. Which is just inserting it with the wavy side up and walking out of the door. But when I started to wear my bobby pins in the fashion that I mentioned above, getting my hair to stay in place was a breeeze

In fact, I'm even wearing some today and I only had to readjust them once-due to falling asleep lol.

So how do you wear you bobby pins?  Wavy side up or down?

Tell me below!
Do you have a certain technique to secure your hair with bobby pins?

Hope you get a chance to try this tip out!

Spring Cleaning, the fun way!

Hey guys! I hope you having a wonderful Saturday!

So i wanted to clear up something I said before about posting everyday. I love to blog and its one of the most fun parts of my day-but I can't do it everyday. As you may know, I am in school and its super duper demanding. I take a butt-load of AP classes which means endless testing and school comes first for me and I won't be able to post everyday. But, I do want to create a schedule of at least every other day!(: This has seemed to be working out so far and I hope it continues to.

Now onto the real topic of today!

{Spring Cleaning}

This is the time of the year when...you gotta clean.

So I wanted to give you some tips on organization!

1. Compact like items: If you have a lot of beauty, skincare, or nail products (such as myself) then put them together in one place together! Make it easy on yourself to find them and organized.

2. Use bowls, glasses, even baskets to organize your things: Use these thing as  way to throw you fav. magazines in (basket) and organize you perfume or lips products.

3.Be creative: Have fun with it! Don't just pack away everything, get some of you bowls or vases in glass to showcase your favorite items and even add a pop of color to your room!

Now I'll show you what I've done!

So I hope that this gave you ideas on how to organize your things this Spring (look at that rhyming there lol)! If you have any questions just ask below!

Till next time (:

Seeing the beauty in life.

So, today a club that I'm apart of at school put on a Easter Egg hunt for kids that we tutor afterschool. It was sooo much fun watching them scramble around looking for the eggs an finding the candy!

But as my friend and I were supervising the kids to make sure the kids were playing nice lol we came across these beautiful flowers that the school grows.

My friend and I just had to take pictures and were absolutely amazed at how beautiful these flowers were.

It made me stop and think of how many times do I "stop to smell the roses?" Life is so beautiful and sometimes we get caught in all the school, work, and other tasks that we forget about the amazing life we've been given. So these flowers today gave me a chance to stop and just appreciate what I've been given and the fact that I can even experience the beauty of what Earth has to offer.

How often do you stop to really "smell the roses?"

~Btw, if you would like to use these pictures as a background for your phone or anything, feel free too! (But...if for any other purposes just link back to me giving credit please(: thankssss)

{Nail Polish} Essie: Romper Room

                           Hey!

Since spring is about flowers blooming, the season changing, and cleaning out the old to bring in the new; why not pick up one of the new Essie polishes from the Spring collection?!

And of course that's what I did (;

So the color I picked was, Romper Room. It's a oh so gorgeous baby pink. But just not any kind of baby pink...it's so versatile! It will look great on anyone (:

The first time I wore Rimper Room I used it in a gradient as an accent nail and then painted all of my other nails solid. It was great but then I eneded up taking it off and wearing it solo because it was just that beautiful

I find it to be perfect for spring because it's not too dark...not tooooo light and not too flashy! It's literally a 'breath of fresh air' for me, which is amazing to find in a polish.

Have you seen any of the polishes in Essie's Spring Collection? If so which one is your fav?!

Let me know below(:
